Description

Maitai is a combination of the recessive sable mutation and the recessive toffeebelly mutation. This combination generally displays an orange to brown colouration, with older specimens often developing a darker and browner appearance over time. Various specimens also show visible green hues within the background colour and parts of the pattern. The sable mutation contributes to an increased presence of darker pigmentation, while the toffeebelly mutation adds lighter and warmer tones. Within this combination, the intensity of the colours and the visibility of green hues can vary between individual specimens.
