Description

Snowburst is a combination of the recessive sable mutation, the recessive albino mutation and the recessive axanthic mutation. This combination displays a translucent pink colour with a very limited visible pattern. The albino mutation causes a lack of melanin, resulting in a light base colour, while the axanthic mutation removes red and yellow pigmentation. The sable mutation additionally increases the presence of iridophores, giving the scales a more reflective appearance. Together these traits create soft colour transitions with subtle contrast between the background and remaining markings. The pattern generally remains faint across the body and only lightly visible.
